While routines are convenient and easy, excitement lies in coming out of your comfort zone and trying new things.

Stewart Alsop and Filipe Pires, from the United States and Brazil respectively, shared their experiences with change and progression as entrepreneurs. They joined hands to start a unique mobile app VoteChat, built in collaboration with Click Labs, that lets groups of people brainstorm and make quick decisions using a group chat and voting mechanism.

For them, even the idea of coming to India to start a company sounded scary. But before teaming up as business partners, they had already been experimenting and trying out new things, so they decided to go for it.

Because they had undergone experiences of different kinds, they were able to adapt to new situations and environments. Stewart even said that he saw a shift in his attitude from pessimistic to optimistic after adopting a lifestyle of trying new things.
